Banyan is more than a school. It’s a community. Throughout the year, the PTA hosts a variety of events and programs that bring families together to celebrate our school spirit..
From community favorites like Trunk-or-Treat, Bobcat Bingo, and the Family Dance, to educational experiences like Science Day and Earth Week, every event is designed to create meaningful connections for our students and their families.
Whether you’re joining in the fun, lending a hand, or helping spread the word, your participation makes a big difference. Every event is a chance to strengthen our school community and we can’t do it without you!

Getting an accurate head count helps us make sure we have the right amount of food, supplies, and fun for everyone!
Lunch With Teacher Drawing - (Lunch on 5/11) - Starting at Family Bingo Night (2/20), students can purchase $1 raffle tickets for a chance to win Lunch with a Teacher! Winners will be contacted directly. Lunch will take place on 5/11 in the MPR.

Tickets can be purchased online at any time or they can be purchased in person at our Banyan Events (like family movie night, and Open House)
Family Movie Night - Friday, April 17th. Arrive at 6:30, Movie starts at 7pm
Join us for a fun and cozy Family Movie Night on Friday, April 17th at 6:30 PM! We’ll be showing Wicked Part 2: For Good, which is the perfect way to enjoy an evening together with family and friends. Bring your own blanket or chair, pack your favorite dinner and drinks, and settle in for a magical night under the stars. We’ll also have concessions available for purchase if you’d like a little extra movie-night treat. We can’t wait to see you there for a night of laughter, connection, and a great film!
Family Dance - Friday, May 15th from 6:00–8:00 PM in the MPR
Get ready to dance the night away at our Family Dance on Friday, May 17th from 6:00–8:00 PM in the MPR! This year’s theme is Emerald City Family Dance, celebrating our school-wide theme: There’s No Place Like Banyan. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with a live DJ spinning great music for all ages. Come dressed to match the Emerald City vibe or just bring your dancing shoes and school spirit! Pizza and desserts will be available for purchase, so come hungry and ready to have a great time with our Banyan community.
